Kerajaan Pusat berhutang RM60 juta dengan penduduk miskin di Kelantan yang memerlukan rumah kos rendah.

Pengerusi Kerajaan Tempatan, Perumahan dan Kesihatan negeri, Haji Takiyudin Hassan berkata, sejak tahun 1990, Kerajaan Pusat tidak memberikan satu sen pun peruntukan Rumah Awam Kos Rendah.

"Sepanjang Rancangan Malaysia pertama, kedua dan ketiga, Kelantan menerima RM20 juta setiap satu. Sejak tahun 1990, kita tidak terima satu sen pun. Sepatutnya kita terima RM60 juta untuk perumahan kos rendah hingga kini," katanya.

Bagaimanapun, kata Takiyudin, kerajaan negeri mengeluarkan belanja kira-kira RM4 juta setahun untuk perumahan kos rendah tidak termasuk projek kerjasama dengan swasta di mana kerajaan negeri menyediakan tanah.

Rumah Awam Kos Rendah adalah projek perumahan yang dikhaskan untuk rakyat termiskin di setiap negeri.
Dengan tindakan Kerajaan Pusat itu, bermakna rakyat Kelantan yang miskin dizalimi oleh Kerajaan Pusat.
