Ingin mengetahui harta-harta yang dimiliki Presiden
Iran, Mahmoud Ahmadnejad?

Ketika mengambil alih kepimpinan negara tahun lalu, beliau cuma
memiliki sebuah kereta dan rumah lama.

Senarai aset beliau yang diumumkan menunjukkan akaun banknya kosong
selain hanya memiliki sebuah kereta berusia 30 tahun.

Menurut laporan akhbar tempatan, antara aset Mahmoud yang tersenarai
adalah rumah berusia 40 tahun seluas 175 meter persegi yang terletak
di daerah penduduk sederhana rendah di timur Teheran, kereta Peugeot
504 buatan tahun 1977 dan dua akaun semasa.

Satu akaun digunakan untuk menerima bayaran gaji kerja lamanya
sebagai profesor universiti dan satu lagi kosong yang digunakan
semasa menjadi gabenor jeneral di wilayah barat Ardebil.

Mahmoud, 48, memenangi pilihan raya pada Jun lalu dikatakan seorang
presiden yang berjiwa rakyat dan sahabat kepada orang-orang miskin
perlu mengemukakan senarai aset kepada ketua hakim mengikut
perlembagaan negara.
