I tried it after you mentioned it before but it never felt comfortable though it did address what I 'felt' was a problem in getting a little separation between my hands.

After looking at some photos of Moe I just moved the hands close and kind of squeeze the left index finger into place instead.

I also tried a regular overlap grip but found that I was loosing my right arm SA allignment over time.
