He smirked at her comment about the dog "Don't think he's planning world domination by cuteness... but he might be" He glanced down at the pup with a questioning look "Milo? You planning on winning the hearts of the world while I'm not looking?" When the pup only wagged his tail, Henry chuckled and scooped him up. Cradling the pup on his back like a babe he scratched his belly with strong, calloused fingers. The pup laid there with full trust that the man wouldn't drop him, both back legs flailing in pure pleasure at the belly scratch.

Waiting till the woman had moved her things to his jeep, he held the door open for her before setting the pup back on his paws and heading back to his table. A fresh beer was waiting for him, and the empty he'd left was gone. He waved to the bartender in thanks before flopping down in the same chair he'd vacated only minutes before.
