A smirk still resting on his lips, his eyes had migrated down to Shania's tight little ass as they entered the club--he'd been unable to help it. The smirk died, and his gaze drifted when the voices of the club reached his ears, however. His dark chocolate gaze assessed the faces at the end of the bar, landing on Memphis last. Things moved quickly then, as Shania darted forward, screaming at Memphis. His brain almost didn't have time register it...he had, after all, been thinking about much more pleasant things only a half a second prior.
He moved forward, thinking he wouldn't reach her in time before she jabbed the older man, but Angelina and Stan stepped in at the last moment, giving him enough time to wrap a muscled arm around her flat little midsection. He pulled her back so her body was tight against his, his grip around her iron strong. His lips only mere centimeters from her ear, he whispered. "No more. Not here. Anger can make people dangerous, and it goes both ways. Some aren't the same as they were." He growled. Memphis was a loaded gun as far as he was concerned, at this point. The man had been barely holding it together, and had become a ghost of his good natured, albeit semi responsible self. He wasn't sure if being here would bring the man back, by he didn't want to cross him. Not until he'd hand a chance to release the pent up anger that seemed to swell inside, anyway.
With that, he released his hold on her, though reluctantly. He had, even in the heat of the moment, enjoyed her round hips pressed flushed against his down. Lord, he needed to keep these thoughts from his mind. "Sorry, Angelina. Everyone." He said, moving for a bar stool. He was utterly confused with Sway and the way people were talking of her, until Stan leaned in and filled him in. He was stunned...he'd thought the woman had just been extra good at flying under the radar. Never had he expected this.
As Angelina introduced, he watched Shania carefully. She was an loaded gun herself, and he didn't know when she'd lose it next. If she kept it up, he supposed he'd have to pull her into the bathroom...perhaps to release some of that passion in...other ways.

The voice from the doorway caught his attention, and he barely had time to react as the woman came at him. Hell, he didn't even know who she was until she was nearly upon him, arm cocked. At the last second, his vision was blocked by the three that stepped in. His dark blue gaze narrowed at her. "You think this was all on me? How about Tumbler, eh? How about Sphinx?" He didn't yell, but his voice was all but dripping with animosity. "Or hell, maybe it wasn't a botched operation. Maybe it was a leak." He glared at her. "And if it was a leak, my money's on you."
He reached for his smokes, anger pulsing through him. As he lit it, he chuckled, though the sound ill-humored. "Screw it. I don't got business with you people. My business is with that bastard Tumbler. I'm going to find him." He pushed past Stan, dragging on his smoke. When Angelina finished speaking, he looked at Sway. "Like it or not, you boosted cars, sister. And when the heat turned up, you left, no different than the rest of us. You and I? Once were close." He chuckled again, the anger simmering in his eyes. "That's all I got to contribute. Sorry." He said coldly.
He didn't honestly know why he was being like this...talking this way to people he loved, deep down. He was hurt, that much he knew...felt like a cornered dog. He had nothing...his own wife hated him. It was the thought of Nancy that stopped him with his hand on the handle to the back door, and he looked back at her. She'd never deserved any of it, and she didn't deserve to be treated this way. He stood there, hovering in the balance, unsure of what to do.
He moves back towards the crew, not looking at anybody but the woman he'd once married. He paused only to throw his cigarette in the ashtray, before grabbing hold of Nancy. His lips pressed hard against hers as he let the sensation of being close to her surround him...her scent, her taste...her softness. It seemed she was the cooling water for the inferno of anger that raged within him, for the anger abated and all that seemed to be there in the moment was her.

The way Memphis spoke to Shania was enough to get his own anger stoked, and he let out a string of spanish curses before switching to English. "Watch your mouth, compadre...she wasn't a goddamn nark. She suffered too, just as much as everyone else. So back the hell off!"
As the man dug into Sway, he was sure that Angelina's no fighting rule was about to be broken. But then the other man headed for the door, and he relaxed some. It was probably better if he left...he was being an asshole and was totally irrational. It did, however, taken him completely by surprise when Memphis came back and kissed the hell out of Nancy. He watched for a moment, blinked a few times in slight confusion, and then turned to Angelina. "So, yeah...about those drinks? It'll be tequila for me...and you can leave the bottle." He'd never felt so much like drinking in his life.

She watched as everything unfolded, from the brunette attacking Memphis, to him verbally attacking her right back. Was this what her life had been? Had this been her family? Had shhe been crazy? She placed her head in her hands, looking up only as Angelina introduced people. Freb and Shania did not stir memories, either...but she suspected the curtain her memories hid behind was firmly down for the evening...her stress levels were far too high.
As Memphis spewed off cold words at her, she did not become enraged, as she thought she would. Instead, she simply stared at him, not giving him the benefit of seeing her tears--though that was exactly what she wanted to do. As he moved to the door, she was silently grateful...she didn't want that asshole to see her cry, but the second he walked out, she had a feeling she would dissolve into sobs.
He didn't leave though, and instead grabbed the woman who used to be his wife and kissed her. She looked at Angelina, brows raised, before shaking her head. She hoped Nancy would crunch his balls for that kiss. "I don't think I can do this, Angelina. I don't think this is the right way. It's too much." She didn't know what was the right way...but being in the middle of the first reunion didn't seem to be it.
