Much better entry, better than Trust No 1. The alien floating metal and writings were a great idea left on the back burner, I'm glad to see it back. It seemed silly to have the Biogenesis/Sixth Extinction storyline say "its the most amazing discovery ever so we're not gonna mention it again for 2 seasons". Kinda like those Navajo UFO files from Paper Clip/Blessing Way, what the heck happened to those?

Tying in the baby with the alien writings is a good move towards wrapping it all up. The baby seems to have inherited Mulder's mind power. Why does he have to die? Another UFO cult up to no good. Might want to find something new here.

The street scenes in this ep were some of the most obvious backlots I've yet seen on TXF. Usually the streets look somewhat real.

How does Scully not get taken in for questioning after the shooting? Did the FBI help to whitewash the situation? I would think they'd like to see her tied up rather than free.

Should have gotten the baby far away a long time ago. The Mulder teasing is getting annoying. Skinner wants to spare her from any bad Mulder news, when DD was on the show he never did that.

Good job, Doggett. Way to stop the cult lady! The poor Gunmen in deep doo-doo. Next week, give me Mulder or the baby? Whats up with that? The messiah complex the show has taken is also annoying. Wish the whole pregnancy/baby storyline had been left out.

Scully certainly kicked ass defending William. The scene with the floating metal over William's head was spooky. A big Scully ep, D & R on the sidelines. Nice to see the plotline evolve especially after a month of deprevation.
