I did like getting to know Doggett more in this episode. He is a great charactor. I liked your analogy to being a great Dad too. One of those people who seems so stiff on the outside but hides all the life experience on the inside to be able to do what he has to do. - Does that make any sense whatsoever?

I also thought Monica was great in this. She has such a hold on Doggett. If Scully had come up with that theory I think he would have shrugged it off, saying she had spent too much time in the basement. As he had before. But when Monica said it, he was willing to stretch a bit. Not a lot, but a little. You could see the respect that has built up between those two. So in essence, NO, I don't want to see Reyes die. I like her.

Is it because the end is near that we are loving every episode or did they finally get their act together, too late?
