It reminded me of that style. At points I thought this seemed really cheesy (at about the time JD fell through the door) but then I thought it turned out really well. I like the idea of John's NOT believing solving the case. Leyla was ok. Her Mulder-Scully comments were fun and I certainly agree with her on the 'dreamy' description. Since she is supposed to represent an X-Files fan do they really think we all act that way? Yeesh! I don't think I could take her every week either but the two eps she was in were nice because we get to reminisce and hear talk about the Mulder and Scully days.

I loved Scully's involvement in this with baby mentions and a mom mention. She was very humuorous. She sure checked her door carefully to make sure the guy wasn't dangerous. NOW she starts being careful! Before it was ok to let every Tom, Dick and Super Soldier in. I liked her sub plot with the young guy. Was he a student at Quantico? Maybe not. It would be fun if they did an ep where she was involved with her students but at least we got to see her in her teaching element, sort of.

I *knew* Doggett was going to say "scared yet?" to that kid! That was great! He had me going with the fire though. Here I was getting mad at the dad for keeping his kid in the room with somehing horrible. I should have known it would be the boy. The X-Files is known for their creepy kids.

I was one of those people who groaned at Leyla upping Doggett over Mulder. Well I didn't really groan. I said "Oooooo". But it didn't really bother me. I bet other fans will go ballistic though. Leyla kind of messed up her compliment so that should make it more palpible. I liked John's reaction to that!

But what are they saying with this? That the Doggett character is just as good as Mulder and shame on the fans for not supporting him? They also seem to be saying that people who watch tv have no imagination. Do they want us to watch the show or not? I'm not sure I liked those little digs.

I liked hearing Scully say she was "busy" when Leyla asked how she was. She'd better not say "I'm fine!" She won't be better until Johnny Fabulous comes back. :-)

Melissa you mentioned a Millennium ep. I haven't seen that but if you want to watch agreat movie about trying to figure out who the bad one is see "The Nanny" with Bette Davis next time it pops up on cable.
Sheriff Bag-o-goo? LOLOL

I agree that Doggett and Reyes are settling in nicely. In these last few eps that's been more evident so it just makes it all the more sad that we aren't getting a season 10 with them. They ought to sell the Doggett-Reyes X-Files to a cable station and do new episodes. I know it's been done before.
