Led Zep's reunion concert reminded me of this weekend. I had just graduated from college. I remember navigating the back roads of the Finger Lakes trying to avoid the traffic. Driving up the hill to the race track waving to the troopers, who were watching all the joints being smoked, they waved back. We dumped the car, and seemed to walked forever. I found the top part of a plastic chair and sat in it for 24 hours. Digging a hole to piss in because there was no where else to go. Not drinking too much so I didn't want to piss again. On the way home Sunday morning the car broke down by Binghamton on Route 17. A girl picked my friend and I up and said she could take us to NJ. I turned out she lived on some estate and invited us to swim in the pool. She got a call while I was in the pool and asked us if we wanted to go the Led Zep concert at the Garden. My friend actually said he had to get home. Thank God I told him in was insane and we are going. The Good Old Days. I have told my teenagers this story many times. They are tired of hearing it so I thought I would bore you with it
