Richmond’s Rachel Esquieres, 22, is among 50 women across Canada vying for the Miss Universe Canada crown.

Richmond artist Raymond Chow will play the Heintzman jade grand piano from Beijing, accompanied by the vocals of Richmond’s Miss Canada Universe contestant Rachel Esquieres. The Two Beauties concert takes place Friday, May 7 at 7 p.m. at Vancouver Golden Harvest Theatre (319 Main St. in Vancouver).
Some of Chow’s prints, drawings, books and paintings will be on display, as will jewelry from Shangri-la Jewelry. Finger foods will be served.
Tickets are $17 at the door.
