It must be intimidating to compete against someone who has already held a national title, and placed very well at the international competition. It is very true- if she is Miss Teen North America, how is she eligible to compete at Miss Teen Canada Galaxy? I feel slightly uneasy about one girl coming back to win the same title again. Has that happened in history? I was at the pageant in August cheering my friend on, and it was very poorly put together. I am not so sure Alissa Banjanovic should be able to compete again. She doesn't seem like a very positive role model and truthfully, doesn't have a fresh-faced teenager look. She knows how to compete, but it definitely is an unfair advantage at this year's pageant. Subject Author Date Winning again in Miss Canada Galaxy Terri C (Not fair?) 07:19:05 05/14/10 Fri Jessica was MS in 2009 as she was appointed - Sherry was crowned MS in 2010 because she was the ONLY delegate - not because someone else deserved it better and is doing a good job with it. Until the delegates are up - we won't know for sure if Alisa is competing however, the MISS is VERY competitive and a larger division so her chances of winning again are a LOT lower (NT) -- MBCC, 08:08:09 05/14/10 Fri MCG -- Terri C, 14:06:39 05/14/10 Fri Having experience does give a little bit of an edge if u have an open mind. if i'm not mistaken, the ms category is not as fierce as the miss category (2 delegates or so?) which may be why Sherry Lynn won.
