I think it is really pointless to post something negative about the future of all the contestants that they are all at risk for the supposed inevitable.. how do you really know what is going to take place.. if mention it why not just say the name of the person you think has it.. if not let's not create negative vibes for the girls. It is my opinion that the top 10 or 12 or whatever they have is chosen long before the pageant takes place. I beleive that I am not alone with this opinion either. I dont think the winner is necessarily pre-ordained but the pool of girls with which the winner will be chosen from is definitely pre-selected thus ensuring that the winner will be of the standard and quality and have sufficient pre-pageant expereince and training to go on to MU. Then what is the point of having a pageant? Why not just have the 10-12 girls from the GTA go through the motions and crown the winner? Most importantly, why bother having the 40+ other girls fly to Toronto only to have their time wasted and dreams dashed? And I�m not discounting the possibility in your hypothesis, but if what you are saying is right, then Canada needs a new franchise holder � �cuz quite frankly, we haven�t won squat in the last five years.
