Do we really need more enemies in the world, Mr. President? Do we have to concoct them when they don't exist? What purpose does it serve to falsely demonize innocent people who act just as we would want others to act toward us and our people? These are no longer the days of Tom Mix, Hoot Gibson, Captain America, Hopalong Cassiday, Roy Rogers and Dale Evans or real world Norman Rockwell prints that are more photographic reportage than symbolic representations. It is really tough to get the bad guys to always wear the black hats these days so we can easily identify them. Sadly, it's also getting damned tough to keep the good guys dressed in white hats nowadays and that really stinks!

Take a look around you for two examples pf what I mean. There are total idiots who rear monstrous little brat children who find it "cool" to commit felony assaults and batteries on other children. We have IDIOTS who commit a crime by providing beer ("Hey, it's just a 'keg.' I mean, it's not like it's something that can hurt anyone, ya know?") to underage children. JUST HOW STUPID ARE THOSE PARENTS AND WHY AREN'T THEY IN JAIL WHERE THEY BELONG!?!?!? Why won't prosecutors in Cooke County, Illinois bring the felony charges that were blatantly committed on the multiple videotape records against the rotten little monsters and the supposed "responsible adults" who allowed this filthiness to happen? When did criminal activity become "youthful exhuberance?" The so-called "adults" in every area of this disgusting stain on our society are commiting child abuse and we don't need to call them anything other than what they are - criminally stupid, vapid IDIOTS who are a danger to their children and to everyone else! That includes school officials, law enforcement people and prosecutors who won't do their jobs.

That's one of the expamples over which I am worried.Then there are all the lies about U. S. Army Private Jessica Lynch our government feels we need to be told. Why is is necessary to continue spreading absolutely provable falsehoods about good and decent people who have suffered enough under the venomous cancer of Uday, Quesay and Saddam Hussein, their perverted henchmen and toadies, the fayadeen saddam and the elistist Republican Guards who abused power because it was available for abuse? WHY THE HELL DO YOU HAVE TO CONTINUE TO LIE? DO you need manufacture a politically correct G. I. Jane icon so badly that you are willing to sacrifice other women who don't carry weapons into battle, but do apply greatly needed bandages and set aside the better "perks" for the strange female soldier from West Virginia? Do we really have to try to make monsters of doctors who had only four titanium plates needed to mend together broken and shattered bones for more than 400 of their own people who needed one - yet those "dirty rotten enemies" used one for the young woman whose injuries all appear to have resulted when she fell off a vehicle that came to an abrupt stop while she was standing up... in a probable panicked reaction to a combat sitution?

We didn't need to "rescue" Private Jessica Lynch from anyone but our own people! That's the REAL truth and it's time to tell it that way! Stop lying about her "heroism." We Americans are just going to have to learn to deal with the truth, no matter how little it works to bolster all the hoped-for daydreams of liberal daydreamers and partisan political mugwumps!

You see, Jessica Lynch's family are poor folk from the backwoods and they haven't been educated yet in the grandiose roles they and their daughter can play in denying and overcoming a few million years of biological realities. Before all the military daydreamers trying to undo scientific facts in favor of philosposphical arguments, they let the cat out of the bag. Yes, Jessica had injuries, but they weren't really "combat injuries... you know... like gunshot wounds and such." Military spinmeisters for the "brave new world" of the "all new Army" were forced ito a shock troop deployment to try to stifle such reports and quickly make Mr. Lynch and his kith and kin understand that "the truth" is not always what we want to tell other folks." I mean, he almost undid YEARS of efforts to make up into down and black into white because up being down and black being white makes what we want to be possibly true.

The truth the military doesn't want Mr. Lynch or his family to tell you is that Iraqi doctors, nurses, medical technicians and health care workers in the hospital where Jessica Lynch was treated gave her excellent care - better than they gave their own people in many cases! Combat commandos did not need to stage a explosion filled raid at gunpoint to "rescue" Jessica Lynch. The hospital workers had tried SEVERAL TIMES to turn her over to U. S. military forces in the days proir to that midnight "gung-ho" raid but were fired upon despite being in a clearly marked ambulance!

Soldiers screw up all the time. It is one of the most widely known and accepted facts of military life that exists. Guess what. Jessica Lynch is proof that a female soldier is as capable of screwing up as any of her male counterparts. She is a poster child for equality of screwups! So what!?!?!? Why do we have to take basically honest folks like the Lynch family and make them accessories before-, during- and after-the-fact to the political machinations now called "spin." That's sick. We used to just call it LYING because THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT IT IS!

That's how those poor hicks from West Virginia saw it at first... and they dared to try to stick with what they had learned as proper American values in their backwoods, uneducated, unsophisticated miserable little lives. Well - I like thosee values, and Mr. President, Mr. Rumsfield, Mr. Attorney-General, Secratary Ridge, Mr. Powell, Ms Rice, Mr, Chief Justice, Mr. Daschle, Mr. Speaker, Mr. Frist and all the rest of you - we don't need to be lied to any more. We never did and we never should! We're a tough lot, we Americans. We can face the truth even when that truth turns out to be something that isn't exactly what we wanted it to be. The Lynch family understands that and they don't understand a need to tell a lie to make their daughter into something she is not and never was. To the Lynch's, and to most Americans, Jessica Lynch is just perfect being Jessica Lynch. We don't need to make good people appear to be monsters to "protect" her image or increase our natinal "pride."

TELL US THE TRUTH! DAMN IT! WHAT'S SO HARD TO UNDERSTAND ABOUT THAT?
