Unconsciously, he had held his breath and leaned in just slightly in anticipation. When his breath had run out, he inhaled sharply and choked on the sudden rush of air. Laughing out of embarrassment, he pulled back and relaxed his facial muscles to not look so anxious for her reaction. Still, his eyes betrayed him and continued to watch eagerly as Euphoria enjoyed the juicy snack.*
