(hehe...not quite- lutes=ears. we'll just go for the shoulders for now, though, to make it easier)

Well, that would leave his enemy sore for a while, at the least. The taste of blood upon the vagabond's lips left his thirsting for more, to get this light out of the way and move on to the next one. Distracted for the moment, his adversary's next move caught him off guard and left little time for escape. Fortunately for him, his head was not held high upon his serpentine and therefore made his delicate windpipe hard to catch. That's not to say that he escaped this one without injury though. The other's ivories claimed some prize- they closed over the thin skin on his boa(neck), ripping a gash into the hide. Blood spattered from the wound, but didn't bother the stag any. Right now he had to get out of the way of the next attack. Already on his way to the side anyway in order to avoid the first charge, the brute wheeled around and faced his hindquarters became lined up with the other. As Devil's opponent came down, his own hindstrikers lashed out, this time aimed at the scapula of the other brute. This point held many oppurtunities: damage to the shoulder bone, the muscle, or the good old flesh. Any way it went, this brujo was set to conquer or kill.
