She looked out toward Lightning. She was deep in thought. She stared from Lightning to Ace. Finally, she seemed to have made a decision. "I am sorry, Lightning," she called after him apologetically. She then laid down next to Ace. "Thank you Castaway," she nickered to the stallion. "Paint, this is Crazy Ace, your adoptive father," she nickered to her foal softly. She then began trying to help Castaway revive Ace. She nugded him softly. She waited a moment before nugding him again...
