Ebon vix stood alone atop a nearby hill,ochre eyes scanned the area for any familiar equines.The moderate wind pulled back her forelock,trapped from streaming too far by her pricked ears.The other curled locks ruffled only slightly at her withers,swinging to and fro carelessly.A small puff of air escaped her mouth,taking the form of a sigh, breaking the powerful image for only a second's time.A small whirlwind of pale feathering raged around her chocolate hooves.The ears pricked forward upon spotting Rush,making sure she wouldn't be interrupting anything if she was to venture over.Indescision made her lift a hoof,trying to decide in vain whether to go forth or to stand and watch him.After a few moments,she placed it one pace forward.The tendons and muscles under her pelt were now easily visible and rippled fluidly as she now trotted slowly down the hill,naturally high-held tail moving out and then back to her hocks with every beat.

The recent citizen of Destiny Falls kept her eyes locked onto the chestnut brute.Her heart faltered a few beats,then sped up to a thrumming pace,beating in her ears,so loudly she was sure everyone else around her would be able to hear it.All too lately she had confessed her deep feelings for him.Problem was,there was another mare.Her name was Immortal Fire,and it was just what Death was afraid of.She told him feverently how her heart ached for him,how deeply she desired him.That had taken a goldmine of courage,but if she hadn'tve,he and Echo would've been further along,closer to being bound together,and she would not have been abe to sit idly and watch that happen before her very eyes.She put on a brave face,a brilliantly shining smile,and continued her journey to Rush.

Finally arriving beside the gathering,she smiled again,looking at Rush,then to Dawn's Early Light,Rush's mother,then to one called Black Mist.She still remembered the Blue Moon Ball when he had told her about his mom,Dawn's Early Light.She tried to hide her feelings for him under a mask of happiness,but failed miserably.Her voice rang out as usual,with only a little faltering.

"Hello Rush,everyone."
