Subject: ~*Heartbroken*~

Driven into a mindless fury, the mare screamed shrilly as her hooves repeatedly scored against the innocent trunks of palm trees. ~*It's not fair!!*~ she raged.

Her daughter huddled in a terrified heap, her eyes wide as she watched her mother's rampage. Her gentle view of the world was becoming unraveled and a more accurate picture was taking its place.

Tears streamed down the chestnut's face, the crystalline droplets shimmering in the air as she whirled away from her 'victim'. ~*Zackari!*~ she called mournfully, her voice carrying anger, sorrow, and most of all, guilt. Hanging her head, she sobbed harshly. ~*You've been snuck*~ she whispered.

Confused, the filly cocked her head. She knew that 'Zackari' meant Daddy but what did 'snuck' mean? Judging from her mother's reaction, it couldn't be good. Her lips began to tremble as tears threatened to spill from her gray eyes. Something happened to Daddy? she thought fearfully. The dam broke and her displeasure and fear manifested through shrill sobs and streaming eyes.
