      - I have a little table fan in each bathroom - I have bought them and left them at my sisters' homes so I would have them when I visit. I travel with a medium size 'vornado' if we drive - especially useful for GFM & Fergus. DH has been sleeping in a 'windy bedroom' for years. Very strange . . . I've been freezing since my surgery in April. Only used the A/C a handful of days this summer when it was extremely humid. I know I left a number of brain cells in the O.R. but they operated on my ankle . . . not my brain. Just finished putting the electric mattress pad and the flannel sheets on the bed. Get your cards, stamps, and pens ready Hosers, it�s that time of the year! For those who are new to the boards or have never participated in the Holiday Card exchange, I�ll give you a brief rundown of the details. Each year Hosers from all over the world exchange cards as a way to spread a little joy and celebrate our friendships. In order to participate, all you need to do is send me a little information and I�ll get you on the list. Here�s how it works:

1. Decide how many cards you would like to send. I will do like Michelle did in years past and divide the list up into groups of 10. You can choose to send 10, 20, 30, 40, or you can do the whole list.

2. Send me how many cards you would like to send, your full name, your board nickname, and your complete address (country too!). Ex:

3. If you don�t want to receive religious themed cards, not a problem, just include that information under your address.

- I am so proud of my son, Taylor!!! He was the last runner across the finish line at cross country regionals. While he was running, a group of girls ran past and they were crying. As he came over the next rise, he saw why. There was a guy down from another team and he was unconscious. The girls stayed with the guy while Taylor ran to get help. It added 4 min to his time. I am soooo proud that he took the time to help someone in need!!! For those who are new to the boards or have never participated in the Holiday Card exchange, I�ll give you a brief rundown of the details. Each year Hosers from all over the world exchange cards as a way to spread a little joy and celebrate our friendships. In order to participate, all you need to do is send me a little information and I�ll get you on the list. Here�s how it works:

It is hard to believe that I found LOL over 10 years ago! I started lurking in early 1999 and finally introduced myself in August of that year after we moved to South Carolina.

At that time we only had 3 year old Joey (now THIRTEEN), the light of our lives! The 100 or so LOLers that were around then would stay up late at night to chat to the other side of the world...ignore our households, husbands and children while on DIAL-UP just for the chance to talk to like-minded people who were "totally hosed"! *g*

Since then you guys have been with me through the ups and downs of a long and scary pregnancy with Declan (now EIGHT!)...in fact his birth was one of first posts after the boards were shut down for 9/11 and I like to think his birth (on 9/13) and HEALTH gave us all a little hope in that dark time. We were showered with love and cards and presents from all corners of the world...what a testament to the LOVE there is in the world!! You were also there for my complaining during what I SAID was my LAST pregnancy with Kieran (now THREE but thinks he's a teenager!) but DH didn't get "the snip" so I thought "maybe one more"?! I laid my head at the Kirk last Sept when I found out I lost a pregnancy at 14 weeks (one I had been keeping secret to have a BIG announcement farther along)...and you wrapped me in warmth and love and helped me through it all.

And now I have all these people on my Facebook who I have a hard time keeping track of because we are using our REAL names! I just love you all and I wanted to tell you all that before announcing our newest (and LAST!!) bundle of joy!!

Orry Nicholas MacDonald Sullivan was born on Thursday October 1, 2009 at 6:22pm!! Weighing 10 lbs 2 oz and 22 inches long...he has a BUNCH of BLACK hair and blue eyes.

He is 12 days old now and I can't imagine life without him! Yesterday was my first day without DH at home and we did pretty good...the kids were home too but they are all pretty self-sufficient now and let me just take care of him...today will be the test as it's just me and Kieran and Orry!

I will post his birth story inside the first response...pretty funny as I had finally said "just c-section" me after months of them saying how HUGE he was going to be and ended up having my water break an hour before I needed to get up to go to hospital!

Sorry for taking up so much space...I just had to share with my LallySisters...you've always been there for me!! (((hugs))) to all!!
