Subject: I just love Rachel and the reminder of Mrs. Hardman. The chapter title struck me because I LOVE Dusty Springfield’s song. Naming your children is a fascinating process and it’s so interesting to me what names get chosen/“put upon”. These little girls were in the direst circumstances and I wonder if their names were their mother’s hopes. One more thing, Diana’s use of names - Mrs. Hard Man? Pure thing!
