Subject: We do dress up. I squeezed into a gown I haven't worn in years, navy blue sleeveless, pleated v neck with soutache around the bottom half of the skirt. The men were completely kilted up, they looked really good. The live music was amazing, the food was good, everyone had fun. We got home after midnight but had to be up at 7 to set up for the brunch dance that was all afternoon today. I'm exhausted, everything hurts, but we had fun.
In reply to: Kathy in PA 's message, "Hope you had a blast!! Tell us about it. Diana does realize the importance of “dress” and describes it well. I learned a lot about costuming when Teri Dresbach was the designer for the first few seasons of Outlander. The attention to detail in ALL the costumes honored Diana’s descriptions throughout the books. I assume you dress up for the Annual Highland Ball. I wish we could share pictures here." on Sun, March 12 2023, 10:42:14
