I’m realizing that Diana’s dialogue, not only LJ, but everyone’s - is what makes this so real for me. The last paragraph here and the first one yesterday are so exactly how truly loving parents deal with kids in trouble. Verbal tongue lashing from Mom (you canna be mine 🙄) and remembered belting from Dad, but absolutely no doubt of their love.
