Subject: Oh goodness this reminds me of my sister and my great-grandmother, Grandma Ruby had dementia but sometimes she'd snap into reality long enough to remind us of her fighting spirit. She once watched my sister mouth off to my mom on her front porch, she stood up from her rocker, walked to my sister and slapped her right in her face and said "you're an impertinent child, and if your mother won't teach you better I will. I knew an impertinent girl once who died in her sleep, remember that". *G* I shouldn't laugh but I'm pretty sure my sister never forgot it, and she always was very hard on our mother..
