Subject: I just have to tell you that I started listening to Bees. It’s fantastic. But I went long with a personal story, I do tend to talk too much.

Immediately struck by how super Davina’s interpretation is of the voices. But once again it made me fill up, this time for them and personally. My daughter’s beloved father in law died on Oct. 22, one month before the book came out. He had been battling cancer and heart problems for 18 months with success and good times with the family. Then one morning he asked his wife to call the ambulance “because something‘s different today.” He WALKED to the ambulance and then passed three hours later. He had seen his three children happy and well with their partners. He was a super Grandad to my grandson, who was actually his step grandson, but you never knew it. They shared a lot of time and Jake loved him. The day he died the whole family’s thought was, “We knew it was coming, but not today……..”. So when Sarah read this prologue she lost it because it was exactly what she was grieving. Listening to it now, hit me hard too, as the prologues ALWAYS do 🥲, but this one is another time where Diana hit a grand slam with human emotions. Take a minute and read it if you don’t remember- you’ll see just what I mean.
