I’ve learned to use “I have a griping in my guts” to describe that particular yucky pain. There is so much use of gut conditions throughout the books I’ve come to empathize in those terms. That last sentence, sure describes some of the worst feelings, right? -- Ladies of Lallybroch Social Board
