I totally agree. The only thing I would add is that "the original Glory" is still here, right now. It's merely obscured by veils of darkness (sin, corruption, whatever). People often ask, "Why does God let (fill in the blank) happen?" Most, if not all, of our problems are man-made, not God-made, so they can only be solved by man. I don't know if we will ever have paradise here on Earth, as no two people can agree on what paradise is (of course this speaks to the whole problem of confusing the spiritual and the material - the seeming conundrum of being "in the world, not of the world") I get a small amount of solace by trying to live out Gandhi's wise words, "Be the change you wish to see in the world."
