Well I think that the boerboel is meant to be versatile and should try to do whatever it is called to do. A 20 mile run is a good way to measure the dogs health. An unfit or un healthy dog wouldn't be able to perform sucessfully. I am forming a club simple test like this is going to be required for breeding. I think that the boerboel is meant to defend without becoming fatigued and be a physical specimen.
