I can't belive it...after all this time and struggling and at times despairing I have finaly broken through the WALL that was like an impenetrable barrier on the scale. I am now as of today 1 lb. less than the lowest point I have been at during this whole regime...this is the first progress in 3 months. The kick-in-the pants of it all is that I have not been able to excercise for over a month due to the torn calf muscle I had.

So what did it? Well...I have been pretty darned stringent with myself...but primarilly I didn't eat at night except fro sugar free jello and yesterday I reversed lunch and supper...eating a big salad and 4 oz of salmon (a typical dinner for me) around mid-afternoon and then only a spiruteen shake for my supper. I snack on raw nuts (5 to 7), 7-grain cereal (like a palm-ful), and egg-whites(2 or 3) inbetween meals. The only other things I am allowing myself outside of meals is a sliced cuke and a half a grapefruit. It has been tough-going. The hardest part is not snacking at night after supper. Brushing and flossing my teeth, painting my nails....and other things that occupy my hands work....oh yes, and taking the 5-htp supplement after supper seems to help.

I know it is one measly little lb different....but it has given me hope that I can continue onward, finaly, after such a long plateau.

Hoping to inspire others...
Dreemy
