Monet nodded lightly as he moved to stretch out in the early morning sun. His eyes glittered for a moment before he closed them.

::You know Gwen, we have the makings of some very fine young people in the cave:: He sighed, almost happy for a minute. ::Now we must lay low and keep a close eye on them. Three teenagers can do nothing but get themselves into trouble. And like it or not...::

Monet looked to Gwen and heaved a sigh. ::You boy does have the marked look of a Cheysuli. Even with his hair color the boy looks more like a Cheysuli than my 'Lexis. And that will cause him problems until he realizes he IS a Cheysuli.::

Alexis sighed as Jeff finally agreed to stay with them. Slowly she forced every muscle in her body to relax. "Well," she began slowly. "I hear that there is another town somewhere south of here. Why don't we go on an adventure? You know? See the world? Why I hear that there are things in this world that no human has ever imagined."

She giggled to herself slightly as she shook her head. "Take those Jellicles for example. I must admit that they gave me quite the scare."

She looked back and forth between Angie and Jeff. "But it was sort of cool too. I have never been out in the world on my own. So I didn't know that there was such strange creatures. Now I am curious... Is there more strange creatures to be found?"

She ran from the cave and spun around in the sunlight. Joyous in her own freedom and hyperness. "What if there are others? Like Dwarves, and Elves, and... and... and Dragons!!"

She grinned as she looked back at the slightly amused, if stunned faces of her two new friends. "Lets hunt for dragons. And unicorns. It'll be fun!!"
