 Gabriel smiled impishly at the young Jellicle and her small Cheysuli shaddow. "The boy and his two female companions are off to quite a humourous start this morning. Already he has been informed that they are to hunt themselves some dragons. Followed shortly by the fact that not only are there dragons in this world but one of his companions has been close enough to a drangon to hear the beating of its heart."

Dante's eyes went wide and he wrapped himself around Gabriel's leg. "Don't worry little warrior. There are no dragons in this neck of the world. Plus," he added with a wink to Kalea, Rio, and Khanada. "Do you think Khanada, Rio and myself would let a dragon get you?"

HE sat Dante on the horse and smiled. "You be a good warrior and see this nice young Jellicle along on her journay. Ok Dante?"

Yellow eyes went wide and serious as he nodded.

"That's my boy." Gabriel turned to offer Kalea a hand up. "Can you ride?

::He really want to know if you can be trusted to spirt Dante off to safety should trouble raise its head.::

The small wolf cub race around Kalea in excited circles. :Yeah, he wants you to be Dante's protector!! Like I am!! Will you? Can you? Dante likes you!! I can tell!! Dante really likes you!!::

::Khanada!! Enough!! You're giving us all a headache.::

The cub tucked her tail and stopped running. ::Sorry Rio.::

"Can you ride?" came the question again as he settled her into the saddle behind Dante.

Nashota laughed joyously into the midmorning sun. Her cats eyes dilating down to nothing more than a thin line. "Come on Michael, Evan. It is a beautiful day."

She turned to look at the two and smiled. "Come on." she motioned. "You should try and open your eyes. See the world not as an evil place out to destroy you and your kind, but as a world that has a million things to see and hear and feel."

She wigled her three fingered hand to them. "Come. I can show you how to rejoice in life."
