 Alexis laughed cheerfully. "I did not say that you didn't speak the language well. I simply said that you had an accent. Which happens when you are speaking a language not your own."

She playfully rolled her eyes. "You need to calm down Angel. Jeff and I are you friends. Ain't that right Jeff?"

Alexis listened to the words Angie had spoke and smiled brillently. "My father speaks that launguage! Perhaps my father is from where YOU are from!" She frowned then, "But then maybe not. He is a nobleman. They know all sorts of languages for their travels." She shrugged as if the thought of her dad made her sad. "But my mom..." She looked sheepishly at Jeff. "Well, she speaks anouther language altogether. To Angie she sent, ::Jeez, I almost told Jeff that my mom spoke the old tongue of the Cheysuli.::

The wolf, tiger, and bigcat began a search for suitable wood for both a fire and weapons. ::Your boy certainly has much to learn Gwen. By his age his father should have already prepaired him for your bond and taught him the use of a weapon.::

Rio snorted loudly. ::Like Alexis has been taught? That girl is no more Cheysuli than Angie. And, although I mean no offense kind Monet, you are no more than a oversized house cat.::

Monet laughed loudly as he nodded. ::No offense taken, but take care not to offend Gwen her. She trully is an overly large house cat.:: He winked at Gwen. ::I know that my Alexis has much to learn. It is the reason I have not tried to get her to go home. She needs contact with her own. With other children. With the outside world. Her father kept her and her mother tightly locked up for fear that some outside force might kill them.::

He looked serious for a minute. ::Which he was right. An outside force WOULD have killed them if they had but known. Yet it is stil no reason to stunt the growth of such a special young woman.::

He spied a beautiful peice of wood that could easily be turned into a bow and called for Alexis. ::This way liren. This might make a handy weapon.::

Alexis took no more than two steps before her path was blocked. "Wha' the..."
