I was fully aware of the origin of my comparison. I did not credit the source for it seemed unlikey that a group of such salivating, low-functioning heathens who's every second message begins with a check of their blood alcohol levels, would even recognize the fellowship of AA let alone revere what is widely considered to be not just a textbook of sorts for those with addiction problems, but also a spiritual guide if you will. Along with my musical pursuits, I was a student of philosophy at Oxford and that is where I discovered The Big Book. Given the collective IQ demonstrated here, I should perhaps have sought a more American friendly point of reference but to my knowledge, the "Cat in the Hat" never engaged in theological discussions. Distance separates me from my beautiful Darian, obviously exempt from this critique, but a lack of the basic foundational knowledge and qualities that help to mold one into a productive and interesting mate and contributing member of a civilized society is what will always keep you at arm's length from our Goddess.
