Icy orbs watch from the trees. They belonged, of course, to Brechin. The Balkar Captain watched Letha intently, wondering what had caused her wound. The capture of Ackar had been put on hold, and thus Letha had to remember to lie low, and be careful. What had happened? But the Captain kept his calm, collected mind, as always. He watched the she-wolf silently, and even the small woodland creatures were unaware of his presence. He had a talent to avoid being seen. To walk by the shadows.

"What has caused thee harm, lady?" he asks suddenly. His voice breaks the silence, and it was the only indication that he was there. He stepped silently out from the shadows, and took a few paces towards Letha.
