Hi, just wondering whether anyone has had a problem with their Sharpei being really smelly.
We have tried everything, baby powder, less washing and more washing and even medication. Nothing works, she just continues to chew her skin and smells so bad we cannot keep her in the house anymore. She smells an hour after we wash her, it just doesn't go away.
She has a brush fur coat and I was thinking because the hair is so course and short that she is producing too much oil which I think is the cause of the smell. If anyone knows of anything that will stop the smell, it would be very much appriecated.
