Thank you for your words. Although Kechari is not generally emphasized at initiation into SRF 1st Kriya, the monks do teach it and it is taught in the Lessons so it does feature in SRF Kriya. My belief is that those who are ready, willing and able to perform it are subtly guided to do so.

It is not necessary to be 'concerned' about it. Yogananda's children are well taken care of my friend, whether or not they practice Kechari with their Kriya.

Yoganandaji seemed to have a way of knowing when a particular disciple was ready to perform Kechari along with his Kriya practice and perhaps this is why he does not initially advocate it for all but intends to awaken those seekers who are ready for it by subtle methods.
An example of this is when Kriyananda found out about Kechari from another monk and asked the Master if he should do it too. At this Yoganandaji replied, "Not now, later."
