Just to be clear, I am not being negative about kechari per se, and I have in fact practiced it. Nor do I believe SRF is against kechari...SRF monks with whom I have spoken have advised it can be practiced in a meditation session, but not as part of the performance of 1st kriya pranayam. Likewise I find no support in the Lessons for combining kechari with the practice of 1st Kriya pranayam, but if you feel divinely guided to do so, then more power to you, my friend.
