I don't know if Paul typed in everything by hand (I suspect not) but one of the problems with using a scrutineer who uses software such as Scrutelle. It's fantastic for the scrutineer at the time of the event, but it's a pain for the organisers afterwards because they (allegedly) aren't allowed to release you the data electronically, only the printed version, unless you pay some exorbitant amount to actually install the software yourself.
