Subject: I was not only ridiculed but beaten by the police. When I was fifteen years old only. And I’m definitely not satisfied with my rights. But I can see the difference between rights and privileges and I don’t want to be a member of any privileged group. Shortly,
In reply to: Drew Greyfox 's message, "Come back after you have been fired from your job, thrown out of your home, lost custody of your children, were beaten by homophobes and then ridiculed by police who refuse to do anything about it. THEN tell me that you don't want equality. THEN tell us that such things are only "privileges". If you're satisfied with the rights you have in your life then good for you, but why are you so quick to argue against other people seeking rights? Does it somehow make your life more difficult?" on 00:41:00 05/21/03 Wed

the right to be free in your bedroom is a real right but marriage in a modern democratic country is a privilege. Because it is not symmetrical . Married couples have some benefits from government, right? Who does pay for it? People who don’t have those benefits like gays and single people. So the demand to have the `right` on gay marriage is a demand to be moved from an oppressed group to an oppressing one. Like to move from slaves to slave-drivers. The same about other stuff. Serving in the military is a right but ’equal employee right’ is a privilege and so on. Real rights always are symmetrical. In f-ng democratic society everybody can name his wishes and opinions “rights” and if he is in the majority or smart enough to convince the majority that his toys are “rights” he is a winner and let stupid losers pay!
God Damned Democracy!
