To discover why something has been in a downward orbit is to uncover the reasons why it may go into upward orbit. If the company had not decided to do something about the notes due 2005--I really believe that in the lead up to the last AGM when it hit 16, the price would have made it over the 20 level again--then they announced what they did--which is good for the company, but short term bad for the share price--so then it declined---going back before that you had the end to free float and as it turned out you had that last minute insto that just had to force it down below the 20 level as they disposed of their holding--at the 10c level recently youve had Motorola --now also gone. Then ofcourse there were not only first half writedowns but some second half writedowns as well (that were instituted by management.) All of it combined to root the the share price below 20c-IMO Cut a long story short--ERG is one of those company's that would have despite being temporarily rooted on the short I feel have held 20c something cents if it weren't for the above things happening--so in the end analysis I think the pain that people have experienced over the last year or so, probably in the end is sad---but to have a better company on fundamentals and one that will last the length of time--necessary stuff that management have had to do and are continuing to do.
