This girl is SO unbelievably gorgeous and talented...that VOICE! She is kind and never fails to make everyone laugh. I have a couple videos of her and Megan Wisler backstage on Finals night 2012. While everyone else was nervous, tense and quiet, these girls were standing on the dressing room tables singing One Direction. She will be famous one day! <3 | |

The first thing she ever said to me was a compliment about my hair. I loved her ever since! Katie and Bre at the picnic was probably my favorite moment of Miss California week. We also bonded over our obsession with drinking iced tea. ;) One of the things I love most about Katie is that she's so easy going and 1000% comfortable in her own skin. She has an incredible voice that I could listen to forever. She's encouraging, hilarious, genuine, and will always stand up for her friends and what she believes in. I remember when you came to my birthday party last year and all the guys jaws dropped to the floor, but you were of course followed in by your boyfriend ;) Meeting you at the Miss Orange County pageant in 2012 was by far my favorite part of that competition... While it was probably one of the worst I've done competing, I left that pageant so happy and thankful that I met you! Besides being beautiful and talented, you were such a blast to spend time with. You're so down to earth and so much fun :) I always look forward to hearing your incredible voice and I remember screaming at the top of my lungs after your name was called into the top 10 in 2012 and I was so thrilled that I got to see you perform your epic talent piece.. I know that I will get to do that again in 2014 & I can't wait for that! While I didn't earn a spot in the 2012 Miss California Class, I am so glad that I am a part of 2013 and my journey ended with you as a new sister :) Congratulations again and again on becoming the new face of REIGN. So perfect... If I owned a cosmetic line you would be one of the first people I would think of to be the face of my company! It doesn't get much prettier than yours. Katie herself kind, generous, talented, beautiful, intelligent and all-around wonderful, and so is every member of her family. She has so graciously opened her home to my mom and I, in addition to driving a total of 12 hours with Ariel to surprise me for my farewell pageant a few weeks ago in Santa Clara. I appreciate Katie, not just for her generosity, friendship or all-around awesomeness, but also for the fact that she 100% herself, NO MATTER WHAT.
