Not only was I lucky enough to have Katie as a suite mate at Miss CA this past June, but I was lucky enough to make a life-long friend in the process. Katie herself kind, generous, talented, beautiful, intelligent and all-around wonderful, and so is every member of her family. She has so graciously opened her home to my mom and I, in addition to driving a total of 12 hours with Ariel to surprise me for my farewell pageant a few weeks ago in Santa Clara. I appreciate Katie, not just for her generosity, friendship or all-around awesomeness, but also for the fact that she 100% herself, NO MATTER WHAT. She'll never let anyone take that away from her and for that I am truly inspired. Love you kitty <3
