] Date Posted: 21:46:39 08/17/13 Sat Last year we were all so sure Danamarie was going to be crowned and the same thing happened this year with Hannah. Goes to show we are not on the same page as the judges.I wish the scores were made public like some of the pageants we see on TV. Seems to be a good training tool to see what the judges are looking for and thinking. Why dont they make the scores public after the pageant. | [> Subject: Although I did not see Mikaela coming I certainly did not have Hannah as my winner. Of the top 5, the second runner up was the best choice in my opinion. I think Kirsten had tons of personality and talent and exuded warmth and approachability. She seemed very genuine to me. Garden Grove was another one who was like that but she did not make the top 5 - much to my surprise. | |

Date Posted: 18:52:36 08/19/13 Mon Indirectly you are bashing the teens (yes "TEENS") who actually won and you need to get over it! Different judges may have given a different result or maybe not! Our girls need support not your whining about the girls you wanted to win. Don't teach them your bad sportsmanship. I guarantee that Mikaela did the best job she could because she wanted to win MAOT as much as we wanted her to win! Great job Mikaela and California is proud! [ Post a Reply to This Message ] |
| [> Subject: Believe it or not "surprised," the opinions held by the rest of us do not revolve around the opinions held by you. You say "we were all so sure..." I attended the teen pageants the last two years and was not sure of anything that you describe. You are entitled to your opinions and are certainly free to express them, but you are not entitled to speak for the rest of us. Speak for yourself and leave it at that. | |
