Subject: I really liked the opening number outfits, both Miss and Teen, for a couple of reasons. They were very contemporary, they fit the music without being too revealing, and the "variety within limits" concept was really fun. I liked the variety of dress styles for the Teens, all in the same color. And I liked the Miss concept with the multi-colored print and the solid colors all being colors used in the print. And I have to agree, one more year of sparkly tops and black pants right now would be one year too many. It's been done to death. Given the music, cocktail dresses would have looked out of place.

In reply to: The jumpsuit was UUUUGLYYYYY! Otherwise the rest were cute and the girls accessorized them beautifully. 's message, "CA didn't GET the sponsor. They stepped up and offered. So if there is another designer out there who can supply 100 girls then step up!" on 14:50:33 07/01/13 Mon

Most E.D.'s don't have a dime left in the budget for production outfits. I agree with a previous poster. Until you can get Sherri or Tony to donate, shut the eff up and be grateful.

I too, liked the opening number outfits however I think the distribution of them was definitely not random...two white jumpsuits just happen to go to crystal and jordon, not an accident, and I know that some of the girls were just left with no choice, just a dress given to them at the last minute, seems really unfair. But kudos for those girls, given no choice, rising to the occasion and making the best of what they were given, just seemed very selective with the former girls given more choices than some of the newbies.

[> [> [> Subject: Jordan and Crystal are from 2 dif't regions in CA. They didn't discuss and plan prior. The majority of the girls had no choice, only a few did and since most of the outfits were cute I'd say the whole deal came out fine.

Just because 1-3 girls' outfits weren't so cute doesn't mean it was a waste. We thought it was pretty decent because we were invisioning worse.
