Called and asked, had a chat with the guy on the other end. Turns out "obscene" means Canadian legal law definition. Basically, they hold us to having no visual child pornography, no bomb-making instructions, no instructions to download warez, etc. Text of ANY other kind is okay, be it R/NC-17/XXX. Sexual discussion is fine, swearing is fine. Apparently we can even host nude pictures of sex acts if we so choose, as long as they are legal pictures within Canada (the only limitation here is no kiddie porn).

The guy said it actually sounds kind of interesting ;) (snerks)
