First off, thank you for getting this board up and running again.

As you probably know, some of the GAFFers (I know Heywood did; can't remember who else) have emailed Invision Board's support staff but didn't get a reply. The ones who brought it up on the support forum were effectively told to FO&D.

As far as the support forum goes, there seems to be a definite flaw in the logic of their argument: it can be summed up as "Read the TOS and you'll figure out why we deleted the forum" but only someone who was on the board right before it was deleted would know exactly what TOS violation took place. The guy who replied in the IB forum refused to give a specific reason, so it's impossible for us to know whether it was the general nature of the GAFF board or the deliberate attack that's been suggested over on Livejournal. Do you have any ideas, or are you as much in the dark about this as we are?

If it was because of the quotes from "Adult" fanfics, do you think that linking to those fics (with no reproduction of them in the forum) would be acceptable? Or do Invision's TOS also ban linking to offensive material?

Anyway, thanks again for keeping the forum running and for keeping everyone informed. Please let us know if you have any luck with the Invision admins.
