Subject: I don’t believe being known as the US prem club with Clint, boca, McBride etc has moved us further along than a BHA or Palace and I don’t think the World Cup will be much different to USA 94, pockets of interest maybe. I don’t agree buying a second choice CF will move the dial in any way, it’s not like Son signing for spurs, I just think the club see him as Rauls successor, which I can’t see yet given his physical stature, but hope I’m wrong.

Americans typically have more disposable income to spend on merchandise and trips to the fancy stadium (lower taxes, higher salaries, fewer vacation days).
