I haven’t posted on here for years but couldn’t let this pass without comment.
I can’t believe that with Lampard or Frank are considered possible replacements for Marco Silva.
Perhaps it’s my age but both are tainted with belonging to our neighbours. That and that alone means no thanks Shahid.
While there are some examples of earned acceptability I still muttered Chelsea Scum under my breath after Willian scoring.
Frank and Lampard can demonstrate on good job alongside disasters and sackings. No thanks!

    - That’s a big call on age. Your issue seems to be a differing opinion. IMO Neither are palatable due to their previous associations and indeed ability. Football is at its best with rivalry and partisan support (within proper boundaries) somebody of your age must get that. I don’t want any other country to win the World Cup other than England. Definite no to Fat Frank Lampard - besides which, he's never successfully managed at the top level. Thomas Frank would be a yes from me as I don't really consider Brentford rivals. Don't see the problem. Depends on the generation, I suppose, but I've never really considered Brentford a rivalry of such gravity that leads me to forever detest their players and managers just by having been there. The list of players and coaches who have come to us from Chelsea to us is a bit too long to have any major opposition except for the most odious among them (e.g. Terry). - In the late eighties and nineties (when I was going to most games home or away) we played Brentford a lot (22 times) in those same years we played Chelsea zero times. In recent times we have had 3 ex Chelsea players managing Fulham. That's Jokanovic, Wilkins and Lewington, plus one ex Chelsea manager in Raniera. On what basis is Frank a better manager than Lampard? Lampard did OK at Chelsea in difficult circumstances. Frank did worse in similar circumstances at Spurs. Lampard got Coventry into PL as Champions. Frank only managed it through the playoffs. Lampard got Derby into playoffs and the've been poor since. Brentford have been good since Frank left. - Thanks. An opinion that you are free to hold. Is having a complete dislike of Gillingham and Derby an issue? Is it alright to say I didn’t like us wearing blue in Hamburg although apprently the Fulham St Andrews kit was blue once upon a time. I also disliked with a passion David Dein although the world thought he was Gods blessing to football. I’m sure there are many more.
