Isobel grinned when she saw the rubies in the eyes of the statues in the temple. They would be worth quite a bit if they could be pried out of there. She saw Ravin eyeing them as well, but unfortunately the Jann had other plans.

"We should search for secret doors!" Sheikh Daraba said forcefully. And so they did.

Erlic soon located a trapdoor in an alcove and they managed to get it open. Down they went, a Jann lighting the way. Isobel wondered why they hadn't bothered to reveal their magical abilities until now, but she was not going to complain, since they needed the light.

Once they'd descended, they found themselves in a room lined with shelves. Isobel grinned as she looked at the intricate puppets and props that sat on the shelves. "They are beautiful!" she exclaimed.

Unfortunately her opinion was soon changed as the wretched things sprang to life. One of them shot some sort of needles at Ravin and Isobel cursed, drawing her sword and putting herself between Ravin and those particular puppets. This did little good, however, since the creatures were all around them.

Isobel hacked at the things as they began to attack, chopping several in half. At least they were small, she thought as she kicked one across the room. Jade suddenly yelled at them to get against the back wall. Isobel did not know what the woman had in mind, but she had seen her cast some sort of spell at one of the spider creatures during the last battle in the spider village, so she figured she might be getting ready to cast another.

Isobel put her arm around Ravin, who was looking somewhat dizzy, and helped him move against the wall. She looked at him in concern. "Are you all right, Se�or Ravin? You do not look very well." She pulled out the needles as Jade cast a fireball at the wooden toys, burning many of them to ashes.

"I hope these needles were not poisoned!" She said in alarm.
