Jade grinned as she saw Erlic leap to her rescue. She watched admiringly as he dispatched the spider with speed and precision. Oh yes, he was a dangerous man. She was about to thank him for cutting her free when he shoved her out of the way to fight some more of the nasty critters that were scrambling up out of that passage. "Well, I guess you like it rough," she muttered as she was shoved against the wall.

Her dagger was already out and she turned and hurled it into the eyes of one of the spiders. It shrieked and lunged at her, its huge mandibles working furiously. She pulled another dagger and slammed it up into its thorax from below. The thing shrieked again and fell to the ground, its legs curling up as it died. "Disgusting monsters, really," she commented as she retrieved her daggers from its body.

Another spider seemed to fly at her from out of nowhere and she didn't have time to get her dagger back up so she spat a word at the spider, her hand extended, and a beam of white light shot from her fingertips, severing the spider's head from its thorax. Its leg slapped her thigh as it twitched in its death throes, and she hissed. That stung!

Suddenly a dragon was looming in the room and ordered everyone to get down. Well, she wasn't going to argue with a dragon and she dropped to the floor right beside Erlic. She turned her head and looked at him, grinning. "Having fun yet?" She winked. Her eyes swept his face, then met his. "Remind me to thank you for saving me properly later."
