I don't have any idea what the actor's thoughts are. I just know that this isn't coming across as a love story. Every time Todd says that he wants this thing with Blair he always includes that Starr wants it instead of just saying that he wants it. Starr has had to push him against his will towards Blair a number of times. It's been months and they've still only kissed three times. I am glad that they didn't sink down to the JFP cellar and go with the kinky handcuff sex that some viewers were hoping for. That at least gives me a little bit of hope that the new producer may be easier to stomach than the last. Personally I don't really expect Todd to do another non-sex sex scene until the next ratings period. Maybe they'll hold off on anymore kissing until then also. At this point I don't know if the lack of sexuality is the actor's choice or if it's coming from the show but it is hard to ignore it. I think the current producer recognizes that all some fans want is the possibility of something sexual and some part of Todd's flesh showing and they'll be happily salivating and will ignore any problems with the story. I think it's still a little to early to tell what the new producer has in mind and whether the reluctance that is being shown on the air will be addressed in the story or just ignored. I would imagine that the actor would probably prefer a better story where he really gets to show what he can do as a performer. He left a lead actor and returned a supporting actor. That probably isn't easy for any actor to accept. I'm hoping that he'll soon get his own story regardless of who he's working with.
